My dear friends’ greetings from Fr. William Miranda OCD.
God loves us with such incredible love. He wants us to experience incredible, life-changing love, mercy, and compassion not only from him, but from those around us. And he wants us to show that love to others. The call to love and help others in tangible ways — especially those weaker than ourselves — runs throughout the Bible. We’re to love our neighbors, foreigners, our enemies… there’s no getting out of it. The call to love is often difficult, but it’s also a reminder of how God loves us: relentlessly, completely, and without expectation of return.

Carmel Jyothi Public Charitable Trust was specially created for the upliftment of the poor, marginalized, rejected and helpless people. Began with one unit in Huvinahadagali taluk, Vijayanagara Dist. Gradually its units extended in Jagalur taluk, Davanagere Dist and Kadaganchi village, Aland taluk, Kalaburagi Dist.
It has embarked on the triple mission of imparting education, health care and self-employment to the people. No doubt the activities mobilized in these areas have been a great success. Today I feel very happy that in spite of some hiccups in the beginning, through this Trust we could reach out so many people. I am very glad to say that the love, concern and the co-operation I obtained from the people, all the associations, and departments, has been the strong encouragement for me to serve them.
Today Carmel Jyothi Public Charitable Trust is well known in all the three districts. Success of this trust is not because of one man. There are so many people who backed me through the prayers and financial support. At this juncture I thank Discalced Carmelite, Karnataka -Goa Province, all the provincials and their team, all the Fathers of D.C.K.G.P, who gave me the freedom and all-round support.

I am indebted to all the bishops, priests and religious for their love and encouragement. My community members, all the directors of Hadagali and jagalur for shouldering my burden. I am also grateful to all the benefactors, well-wishers, Konkani welfare association Mira Road, dignitaries of all the associations, press reporters and media for their selfless services. May the Lord Jesus bless all the people who supported me”
