My dear friends’ greetings from Fr. William Miranda OCD.
God loves us with such incredible love. He wants us to experience incredible, life-changing love, mercy, and compassion not only from him, but from those around us. And he wants us to show that love to others. The call to love and help others in tangible ways — especially those weaker than ourselves — runs throughout the Bible. We’re to love our neighbors, foreigners, our enemies… there’s no getting out of it. The call to love is often difficult, but it’s also a reminder of how God loves us: relentlessly, completely, and without expectation of return.
Founder’s Message
It gives me immense joy to see Carmel Jyothi Public Charitable Trust growing as a ray of hope to the poor and the underprivileged of our society. When this Trust was started, our only aim was to serve the people of rural areas with compassion and dignity — especially the sick, the poor, women, children and those who are often neglected by society. Over the years, with the support of many like-minded people and institutions, we have been able to reach thousands of beneficiaries through health camps, educational programs, nutritional support, skill training and various awareness initiatives. Our mission is not only to provide help, but also to awaken hope and self-confidence in every person we meet — regardless of caste, creed or religion.. I sincerely thank all our staff, volunteers, friends and well-wishers whose tireless support and dedication make this mission possible. May we continue to walk together in the spirit of service, compassion and justice, and bring light into the lives of many more.”
Prerana Social Welfare Centre, Jagalur, in collaboration with M.R.T. Rural Eye Hospital, Kondlahalli, organized a special cataract screening eye camp on 25th September 2025.
